I got tired of the same old refrains about drinking coffee like your men.
So one day a friend and I were talking about this and I was trying to describe my preference for coffee. And seriously, if I can see the bottom of the cup with less than 1/2 inch in the cup, it's too weak. And let's be honest, you reach a certain age in life and you just gotta be honest. Right?
Shout out to AeroPress coffee for helping me create a killer cup every morning.
The number of old men that love this shirt and make their wives look at it is fabulous. I get more responses from men over 60 than anyone else.
My initial idea is that as relational beings, we are a product of our emotional relationships just like the people we date. What I learned quickly is each person sees this the way they want.
I don't really like getting knocked down and having to pick myself right back up.
A friend of mine was a semi-pro motorcycle racer. He told me that when you get off your motorcycle at 85 MPH, that you tend to roll. Then when you stop rolling, you count to 5 before you get up. He said most people get hurt when they get up to fast because their bodies are still moving forward and their brain hasn't had time to catch up.
Hence, when life tries to knock you down, just tuck and roll. Give yourself time to recover, then get up and move on. Practice safety with your emotional health just like you would your physical health.
This is for a friend. She wanted one for her boyfriend. So we did a plain one, but I had no idea how to really do it. After hiring someone from Fiverr, this is a much better result. Let's see how my friend likes it.
During a visit to the Sunken Gardens, a friend and I had just entered the gardens when a man next to us said to his friend "Don't forget to look up" And for reals, you would miss half the garden if you didn't look up.
Since then it has been my mantra for life and for living life. It also fits well for how much time we spend looking on a device. Or heads now to get the job done, or men looking at women's boobs. So, yeah, look up once in a while. It's totally worth it.
Picture coming soon.
Some of you may know that I have taken up traveling. I promised to send postcards from all my travels around the world. I'm up to 57 people so far. So, yeah, buy this t-shirt/mug and support my postcard habit.
